Processing Times

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.

High-value or one-of-a-kind items may require additional verification prior to shipment.

Shipping Methods (U.S. Only)

All orders ship via major carriers and include tracking.

For higher-value shipments, additional security measures such as insurance and/or signature confirmation may be required.

Signature confirmation is required for orders totaling $750 or more.

Secure Packaging & Condition Documentation

To protect both our collectors and the integrity of our inventory, all items are carefully packaged and documented through photographs and/or video recording during the packing process to verify condition, contents, and authentication prior to shipment.

Delivery Responsibility

Once a shipment is transferred to the carrier and marked “Delivered” according to tracking records, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.

Damage or Delivery Issues

All shipments must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Any claim for damage, missing contents, or shipment issues must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery, as reflected in carrier tracking.

To remain eligible for carrier claim assistance, customers must:

  • Provide clear photos of the item
  • Provide photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and shipping label
  • Retain all original packaging materials for possible carrier inspection

Failure to retain packaging may void eligibility for claim assistance under carrier insurance policies.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

In the event of loss or damage during transit, claims must be submitted in accordance with the carrier’s policies and required timeframes.

We are happy to assist by providing documentation necessary to support a carrier claim; however, carrier determinations and claim approvals are made by the shipping provider.

Returns Policy (Wrong Item or Transit Damage Only)

Because our inventory consists of rare, limited, and high-value collectibles, we do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, resale transaction cancellations, or market fluctuations.

Change-of-Mind / Buyer’s Remorse Returns: 

Not accepted. All sales are final except (1) wrong item shipped or (2) verified transit damage reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Return Authorization Required

All returns must be requested and approved in writing prior to shipment. Items sent without authorization will be refused.

Return Shipment Responsibility

Unless the return is due to a verified shipping error (incorrect item shipped), the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Return insurance costs
  • Using trackable shipping

Returns valued at $100 or more must be shipped with insured, trackable service.

CavCollects.com is not responsible for loss or damage on uninsured or under-insured return shipments.

Condition Requirements

Returned items must be received back in the same condition as delivered, including:

  • Original packaging
  • All tags and inserts
  • Certificates of Authenticity (COAs), holograms, and tamper-evident seals intact

Removed or altered authentication materials render the item ineligible for refund.

Refund Processing

Once an authorized return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval status.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Refunds will not be issued for items returned in a condition inconsistent with how they were originally shipped.
